Hey guys,
I really enjoyed the pixellation task we got set last week, it was really good fun and its something I would really like to look into doing again, this time maybe with plasticine modals and random toys!.
The films we watched today were very interesting, although I enjoyed Jan Svankmajers work I did find it a little disturbing...Dolls eating and coming out of each other was a bit dark, I am however looking forward to his Alice in wonderland film which Andy mentioned!
I checked out youtube and watched a few more of his short films, they were all equally as disturbing as the next! heres a link to one of them, it didnt have the name but I will try and find out the link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ1fLssuq98 and believe me, its worse than The Jabber Wocky!!

It's amazing the influence that Svankmajer has had on contemporary animation today. The work of the Quay Brothers is worth having a look at, and amongst their interesting body of work is the sledgehammer video for peter gabriel.
