Maya software!

HELLOOOOOO

Ugh, Maya software, I dont think ive ever been as frustrated by a computor programme in my entire life!!

I havn't used it before and I found it incredibly difficult to use because there was so many different tools and I kept getting confused!!!
In the end I did manage to produce a 3D image of a chair which I did like and I'm pleased with the effort I made I particularly liked experimenting with the lighting to create shadow with my image.

I am looking forward to the project we've been set on this programme to design our own chair but I think to excel in this computor programme and I am going to have to just experiment and play around with it in my free time until I feel comfortable using it without constantly asking for help from the lecturers! and hopefully my project wont be a complete disaster!.

I would really like to get into 3D animation as it interests me so Im going to have to get over my frustration of this programme!

angry man/interaction animation

hellooo

I found the task of the angry man really difficult, especially trying to get the right perspective on the door while it was being opened, it took me ages to do and I had to re-do the entire animation which really annoyed me!!, apart from that it was a good lesson in using arcs as guide lines and not trying to do something so tricky without them!!

I managed to finish my interaction animation although i'm keen to edit it slightly, overall I was very pleased with how it came out and I think its my best attempt so far :).
Andy did point out that my characters were both doing something interesting at the same time and because the audience will of only been focusing on what was happening with the ball they would of missed one characters reaction to it, next time I do an animation like this I will be sure to make one characters reaction time alot slower, this may also increase the humour in the film.
